Not just that now RC Cola-Army are recognized as the supreme champions of 2016 Phillippine Superliga Challenge Cup beach volleyball held at SM By the Bay in Mall of Asia.
Former national team member, Gonzaga and Bautista, an expert joined the tournament which was sponsored by Asics, Mikasa, Senoh, Petron, Foton and TV5 was the official broadcaster and SM By the Bay as venue partner.
Although during press time men’s title was disputed, FEU-Petron was done with the third women’s division by thrashing down Petron XCS 21-10, 21-13. “We knew that we’re in control. We have the experience over them,” said Gonzaga, who is known to be country’s best beach volleyball player who remained undefeated since 2009 “We were never rattled.
