Valdez Shines as Balipure beats Laoag

The multi-awarded athlete and Filipino volleyball star Alyssa Valdez banged on the court with its straight fourth win when BaliPure was battling against Team Laoag today in the 13th Season of Shakey’s V-League Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan City.

Returned from a grand European vacation, Valdez was super excited to hit the court to play along the teammates. Although she missed team’s first three games, Valdez slammed 26 points during a clash with University of the Philippines, which brought BaliPure a victory of 20-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-17, 15-12.
It took some time for her to get back in the offensive action after which she surprised the audiences with her amazing smashes.

Next match is scheduled between Water Defenders and Laoag Power Smasher starting at 4PM also Air Force Jet Spikers clash against NU Lady Bulldogs kick start at 6.30 PM. BaliPure and Air Force is on a tie for second to third places at 3-1. Still Pocari is on top of the list with the perfect record of 4-0.
BaliPure Coach Charo Soriano expressed his excitement upon Valdez return –

Laoag on the other hand, need to count on their potent players, Wenneth Eulalio, Katherine Villegas and Mylene Paat who played well in the early matches.
