Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2016: start time, tv channel, live stream, performers

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will start at 9:00 AM ET. This is the 90th anniversary of the said event in which it has been a tradition to wake up and watch the MACY’S parade.

Surely, the parade consists of wonderful floats with colorful balloons, circling around the City of New York. From a crowd of over a quarter million since the first parade to 3.5 million people that are watching in the side streets where the parade passes by heading to south on Central Part West and down Broadway. Moreover, the MACY’S Thanksgiving Day parade draws about 50 million television viewers in the United States alone.

One of the floats this year would be the recreation of the original Felix the Cat, which was featured in the first parade in 1927.

How to watch the MACY’S Thanksgiving Day parade? CBS and NBC will be providing the live telecast of the parade. The parade route kicks off at 77th Street and Central Park West before ending at 34th Street near MACY’S Herald Square.
