Cavaliers outlast Celtics on the road

 

LeBron James had 24 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Cavaliers in a 121-99 victory over the Celtics Sunday night.

James was totally rejuvenated by playing with new and younger teammates coming from a trade. Jordan Clarkson, a former Laker, contributed 17 points in 23 minutes of play. Clarkson was efficient coming from the bench like the way he was utilized in LA.

The Cavaliers outscored the Celtics in the second and third quarter to distance them going into the fourth quarter. The Celtics couldn’t quickly adjust to the intensity of the fresh legs of the Cavaliers.

Kyrie Irving score 18 points in 7 of 14 shooting from the field while Terry Rozier delivered one of his best performances with 21 points. Marcus Morris scored 17 points to compliment the Celtics in a losing cause.
