One of the most famous and influential horror series in the world, arguably, is American Horror Story. Even before we expected the end of days in season eight or went back in time for season nine, back in 2018, FX had already renovated the flagship show of Ryan Murphy for a tenth season. As knowledge is slowly emerging on what to expect in American Horror Story Season 10, we already know it has a stellar cast in place and has received some tips on the theme.
The cast of American Horror Story Season 10
Some fan favorites could return to the show, either as new characters or as some of our favorites over the years, as in the tenth season. The whole thing of course, depends on what the theme is and what year it is set in. Revealed on Wednesday, February 26, Murphy revealed the entire cast list. Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Kathy Bates are all coming back. Also returning will be Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Finn Wittrock, Adina Porter, and Angelica Ross, followed by newcomer Macaulay Culkin.
The plot of American Horror Story Season 10
The basic plot for Season 10 of American Horror Story has not been announced, but fans theorize that after many Murphy hints on Instagram, the story would concentrate on mermaids or sirens. Murphy posted a photo of hands creeping up some bracken earlier this year with the caption “Things are beginning to wash up on shore,” followed by a picture of a sandy beach in May.
Next, he shared a rather ominous video of a shore with music playing in the background from Orville Peck’s ‘Middle of the Night.’ Finally, we have the latest promotional picture of someone having ‘AHS10 FX’ tattooed on their tongue with shark-like teeth. Although the sharpened dentures have a range of monsters and supernatural creatures, many fans speculate that this individual is either a mermaid or a siren.
Release Date of Horror Story Season 10
Although an official release date has not been announced for season 10 of American Horror Story, fans can expect the series to return in 2021.
