WWE announced on their social networks a new match for tonight’s edition of NXT. The Way member Austin Theory will go head-to-head with Kushida.
Last week, Johnny Gargano approached William Regal’s office to demand that Dexter Lumis Theory attacked after his victory against Leon Ruff. Kushida immediately appeared to attack him, applying a lock to the arm of the North American champion.

On Tuesday night, Austin Theory posted a video revealing that Gargano will be unable to compete at NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day due to Kushida’s attacks. As revenge, he challenged the wrestler to a match on the weekly show. So far, WWE has confirmed the injury of the leader of The Way but no further details were provided. It is also unknown if the next PPV card will have any changes.
