During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts via USA Network, multiplatinum artist Bad Bunny won the WWE 24/7 Championship after ironing Akira Tozawa backstage.
At the close of the first hour of RAW, Damian Priest and Bad Bunny were giving an interview backstage. However, they were interrupted when Akira Tozawa snatched the 24/7 Championship from R-Truth on their face. His bewilderment ended in Damian knocking out Tozawa and leaving him ready for his partner to iron. The two men went out to celebrate while Truth promised revenge.

In this way, Bad Bunny becomes the owner of the WWE 24/7 Championship for the first time in his time with the company. While Tozawa’s reign lasted only a few seconds before losing the title, R-Truth’s reign came nine days after his victory at the Celebrity Flag Football Game. On that occasion, Truth defeated former player Doug Flutie to earn his 49th belt reign.
BAD BUNNY CONTINUES HIS CRUSADE WITHIN WWE
The Latin rapper and singer Bad Bunny has been a topic of conversation for fans since his participation in WWE Royal Rumble 2021. Away from his musical performance, the artist chose to provide a moment within the royal battle by jumping from the third rope towards the superstars The Miz and John Morrison. The artist would continue to appear on RAW for the next few weeks to accompany newcomer Damian Priest in his matches against The Miz and Angel Garza. Several rumors claim that Bad Bunny would be training inside the Performance Center for an official debut within WWE.
