Developed by TiMi Studios and published by Activision and Garena for Android and iOS, Call of Duty: Mobile is a free to play shooter video game which was released on 1st October, 2019. The aim of the game was to make franchise’s previous games available to users on their mobile phones. It made available playable characters, maps and game modes from previous game in the series.
To enhance the overall experience of the players a wide range of modes are available in Call of Duty Mobile such as the Raid Mode and the Zombie Mode. The game has different time-bound modes which can be played for a limited time duration.
What is the Zombie Mode?
In November 2019, Zombie mode was added to the game where a squad had to survive against bunches of AI-controlled zombies in this mode based on survival instincts. It was a popular survival mode that had four players battling through a fan-fave map Shi No Numa. The rewards were based on the duration a squad survived against the wrath of the zombies. This mode was adapted from the main series of Call of Duty games.

If all the above information got you excited to play the Zombie mode then we have a bad news for you. In reality, you can’t play it anymore as it’s no longer available.
The developers officially announced the removal of the mode in a community update of 29th February and was removed permanently on 25th March, 2020.
What Happened to the Zombie Mode?
If you are wondering why was the mode removed, then according to the community update by the Call of Duty Mobile team, the mode was always intended to be a limited time experience for the players with no explicit end-date. They even added that although the mode was a popular one, it had not reached the level of quality they desire. However, they hinted at bringing a better version at a later date and also consoled its fans for a progress, coins and shards revival. If it comes back, it’ll be on the unreleased Nacht Der Untoten map.
