The last time we looked at Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka), the show team and social media were celebrating her birthday. Now, it’s Aguirre-Sacasa’s turn to twist the mocking knife a bit more with some illustrations of someone we can safely say is Luke Cook’s Lucifer Morningstar, aka Dark Lord and even more so as Sabrina’s beloved father.

By the looks of it, she’s more than ready to play a bigger role in the series summary based on the included title: “Knock, knock, knock on the gates of hell. Guess who’s back with another spell”…

Now here’s your look at the official announcement video, and be sure to mark your calendars for a New Years Eve date with the dark side when chaos reigns for the last time on December 31, 2020: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reinvents origin and the adventures of Sabrina, the teenage witch, as a dark coming-of-age story that deals with horror, the occult and magic.

On the other hand, Nick slowly begins to earn his way back to Sabrina’s heart but will it be too late? Likewise, over the course of the eight episodes of season 4, The Eldritch Terrors will descend on Greendale. The coven must fight each terrifying threat one by one (The Weird, The Return, The Darkness, to name a few), all leading to The Void, which is the end of all things.

While the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club. Aguirre-Sacasa offered fans some guarantees in a statement that was released when news of the cancellation broke.

“Working on ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has been an incredible honor from day one. The cast, starting with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teenage witch, has been an absolute joy.”

The showrunner claims to be more than grateful to the team, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for putting so much love in that dark show dream, Aguirre-Sacasa also confesses to being grateful to his partners from Netflix, Warner Bros, Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for allowing them to tell the story they wanted to tell, the way they wanted to tell it.
