On 27 July International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the Cricket World Cup Qualifier will Start with the England vs Ireland series from the 30 July.

What is the World Cup Super League series?

The World Cup Super League are Qualifiers to decide who is competing on 2023 ICC MEN’S WORLD CUP.
A total of 13 teams is taking part in this league.
There is also a Netherland who is competing in this league because Netherland won the 2015 world cup qualifier.

World Cup Super League for 2023 world cup basically planed in May 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, Dates are rescheduled from 30 July 2020.

Qualification Process

Qualification is based on the point’s table. Each team will play four-match at home and four-match away from home. Every win gives a team 10 points and Tie or No results will give 5 points. Each team will play three One-day matches in a series.

Top 7 teams on ICC rankings will get direct entry to world cup 2023. One spot is reserved for the hosting country. A total of 8 teams got a direct approach to the World Cup 2023. Winners of the Cricket World Cup Super League will receive the remaining spot of the 2023 World Cup.

2023 World Cup is Host by INDIA so India is already qualified for the 2023 World Cup. This series will be Starting from 30 July 2020 to 2023, Until the start of the World Cup. A total of 10 teams will compete in the 2023 World Cup, India is already there and 7 teams are based on ICC rankings and 2 teams will be determined by this World Cup Super League series.
