GLOW is an American comedy- drama show which is inspired by a short lived 80’s reality show named GLOW- Gorgeous ladies of wrestling. This show is a Netflix original and is created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. The first season of the 80’s themed show premiered on 23rd June, 2017 with 10 episodes and season 3 premiered on 9th August, 2019.

Glow Season 4: Plot
Ruth Wilder is struggling actress in Los Angeles in 1985. After many failed attempts to get an acting job Ruth auditions for GLOW i.e., Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, which is a woman’s wrestling show and gets selected for the same, due to lack financial stability Ruth accepts the job even though she a traditionalist as an actor. Here she meets Debbie Eagan, whom she does not share a good relationship with as she had an affair with her husband. The story portrays the breakthrough success of the wrestling show with the ladies garnering a huge fan following.
In season 3, the team moves to Las Vegas (as the show doesn’t get an appropriate time slot in LA) where they take up a floor show at a strip club and get bored and accustomed to the same stuff they do over and over again. Also, the relationship between Debbie and Ruth seems to be clearing up and Debbie gets to become the Network president of a TV Channel and offers Ruth to direct GLOW which Ruth declines while boarding a flight for a Christmas vacation but is dual minded about her decision. This cliffhanger in Season 3 has the fans of the show eagerly waiting for a season renewal.
Glow Season 4: Release Date
The makers of the show had renewed the show for a fourth and last season on 20th September, 2019. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, the fourth season has been cancelled. therefore, the cliffhanger will never get explored and the fans will never know whether Ruth really got to direct the show or not.
