Google Removed apps from Playstore: Technology giant Google has reviewed hundreds of personal loan apps in India and removed many of them from its Play Store. Users and government agencies had expressed concern about these apps from the company. Google said on Thursday that apps that were violating user security policies have been immediately removed from the Play Store.

Google has asked the rest of the app’s developers to show them how to comply with local laws and regulations. If they fail to do so, then their app will also be removed from the Play Store.

Google said in the blogpost,

“Providing a secure experience to Google’s products is our top priority. Our global product policies have been designed and implemented with this goal in mind. We are constantly working to improve user safety.

However, Google did not reveal which apps it has removed. The blog post states, “We have reviewed hundreds of personal loan apps in India. The users and government agencies had expressed concern about them. The app, which is in violation of the User Safety Policy, has been immediately removed from the Play Store.
