Ibiza Kicks Off Celta With A Blushing Hand

Copa del Rey always gives surprises and this time Celta de Vigo suffered it. Coudert’s team fell to Ibiza in a resounding and deserved way. The Balearic team undefeated in their Second B subgroup this season showed how well they are doing and resolved the tie in 28 minutes to finish rounding it off in the second half.

The Ibiza review was more than fair. Castel’s double and another from Javi Perez in just half an hour was a reward for his dedication and football. Molina extended the win from 11 meters and to Panenka to further humiliation.

Celta only reacted timidly after the third goal but it hardly disturbed German. Lots of possession but little depth. The Ibiza controlled the times and knew when to run. Coudet made headlines late. Santi Mina and a goal from the youth squad Holsgrove shortened the gap in the final stretch.

Mina himself had it 4-3 from the penalty spot in 90 to give him excitement but German became a savior. There the possible comeback was over. Rolled in the last play and against putting the icing on the cake with the fifth. A little hand that is going to burn a lot in Vigo and that is going to turn Ibiza into a great party.

The gaffe of Martinez Munuera

Curious is that the Galician team fell again with the same referee who last year directed the match in which he was eliminated by Mirandes. Martínez Munuera is not good at the celestial, who have already been 10 games without winning with him. At least this time, it had nothing to do with it. The Celtic defeat was more than fair. The first big surprise of the 2020-21 Cup.
