Sean Ross Sapp, a journalist for has posted a video in the last few hours showing Jimmy Uso’s training at the WWE Performance Center. This would be the start of his recovery from the knee injury that has put him out of action since March 2020.
The video shows Jimmy Uso exercising while running. It’s a breakthrough, but it is still unknown when he will make his return to the WWE ring. In October 2020, it was reported that he may have returned to action earlier than expected. He appeared in Hell in a Cell to be part of the end of the fight between his brother Jey Uso and his cousin, Roman Reigns. After that, he was never on screen again and has been absent to date.

Jimmy Uso has not fought since the triple threat of WrestleMania 36 for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. At first, it was rumored that he could fight Roman Reigns after Jey Uso’s attempt for the WWE Championship, but that plan was discarded because his evolution in recovery was slower than expected.
Jey Uso Is Injured On SmackDown
On her Instagram stories, Jey posted an image showing a bruised toe. In the text, Jey indicated that the injury occurred in Elimination Chamber. Later, he showed a photo of his foot submerged in water to aid the healing process. It is unknown if this small injury will mean the fighter’s loss this week on Friday Night SmackDown.
