All eyes are on when the next eight episodes of Lucifer Season 5 is going to be on Netflix. Here’s what we know about Lucifer Season 5, Part 2 so far.
The bad news is that at the time of writing this, there is not a release date for Lucifer Season 5, Part 2. The good thing is it’s definitely happening. We only need to wait just a little bit.
Nonetheless, this is one of those posts that we can update as more info comes out. It becomes a hub of all things Lucifer Season 5, Part 2. And there will be a whole lot to talk about.
So, what do we know thus far? Let’s dive in!
There aren’t a release date, but we’re sure that the show will air in 2021. There is no good reason for it not to. The fifth season will be on the last parts of post-production right now, because the filming of Season 6 is currently happening.
Netflix is at a point where there’s limited content to share on account of the production shutdowns in early- to mid-2020. With a knock-on effect for release dates, therefore Netflix will want to distance content out. However, we are hoping Part 2 will be out earlier rather than later.
Some reshoots may have been needed as a result of the renewal of Lucifer Season 6. Hopefully, not too many!
The main cast from the first part of the season will return. Component 2 also needs to include Inbar Levi as Eve.
There are a few new developments to the next half of the season. Dennis Haysbert will return as God following his big reveal at the end of Episode 8.
In addition, we understand Alison McAtee will play Elizabeth Newton in Episode 14, but no other details are known. Catherine Dent will play Dr. Alice Porter at some point during the second half of this season. Teri Reeves is joining as Col. O’Brien, set to join in Episode 10.
Scott Porter affirmed he is linking the season but hasn’t specified the role yet. Supernatural lovers will want to pay attention as it is possible that he’s joining as Castiel.
Jenny Tran will look in Episode 14 as Larper Kim, Daniel Hoetmer Will be in Episode 9 as of April Peterson, and Mark Adair-Rios is Juan Perez at Episodes 9 and 10.
Chris Payne Gilbert is back as John Decker during the season. He is set to appear in the Lucifer Season 5 finale.
There are not a trailer just yet. We will make certain to bring it as soon as one is available.
Likewise, there isn’t a synopsis only yet. The first half of the season ended with God emerging while two big fights happened: Lucifer vs. Maze and Amenadiel vs. Michael. God is done together with the fighting between his kids, and it’s time for a family dinner to occur.
