Mob Psycho 100 is an action-comedy supernatural Japanese manga series. The series is based on Shogakukan’s manga of the same name released in Ura Sunday MangaONE. By the end of 2016, the manga had sold about 1.2 million copies. After that, it also won the 62nd Shogakukan Manga Award in the shōnen category. Bones Inc. decided upon an anime adaptation directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa. The scripts were written by Hiroshi Seko and Yuzuru Tachikawa. In 2019, Polygon listed Mob Psycho 100 as one of the best animes of the 2010s. Crunchyroll included Mob Psycho 100 in their ‘Top 25 Best Anime of the 2010s’. The series went viral in September 2020. Eric Trump (son of ex-President Donald Trump) alleged Google censorship. As Google Search results showed Mob’s face when searched for ‘mob’.
Release Date
The anime’s plot source is the manga. If the manga is not done, we have no further episodes. There has been a delay in the anime because of the worldwide pandemic. Although if the story takes its course then Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 should release this year in Japan. In due course, it will reach elsewhere soon. But we still have no official announcement from the makers. Until then these are only speculations.

Plot
Shigeo Kageyama nicknamed Mob is an average, school-going boy. Except that he is not. He is a powerful esper that possesses psychic power. With the amount of power in this small body, it is a difficult task to keep a lid on. He seeks help from a con man Reigen Arataka to control his abilities. Mob aspires for normalcy in people’s lives. However, his power threatens to break its limits with each passing day. Season 2 ended with Mob losing his powers and deemed as weak by everyone around him. Season 3 will pick up from this scene.
A new addition to the series might be the only clue we have for now for the plot of Mob Psycho 100 Season 3. Haruki Amakusa is a new character, whose aim is to hunt down Hyakki, a spiritual monster.
