Hit Netflix show Sex Education is going to make its return to our screens – but there are a couple of changes viewers might notice.
The program follows bout Otis Milburn, a socially awkward high school student who lives with his sex therapist mother, Jean.
In season 1 Otis and his buddy Maeve Wiley set up a sex clinic at school to capitalize on his instinctive talent for sex advice.
In season 2, audiences watched Otis getting to grips with the world of dating as he started a brand new relationship with his original girlfriend Ola.
But things were not simple for Otis who was also juggling his currently strained relationship with Maeve, who he’s previously harbored feelings for.
Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary has been in dire need of better sex Education at the school, with Jean stepping in to play a prominent part.
Asa Butterfield, who plays lead character Otis Milburn, recently revealed that period three will begin with a time jump.
“There’s a small time-jump because the season two cliffhanger.
“Otis is back in college but he has different things on his plate. He’s grown up a bit and become marginally sassier. It’s been fun to portray his newfound charm. Don’t worry, however, he is still tragically awkward also.”
Sex Education season 3 release date
We sadly do not have a release date for the next season yet, but it had been confirmed using a shareholder letter from Netflix which Sex Education will likely be returning at the second half of 2021. Fingers crossed we will be receiving new episodes sooner than later!
Sex Education(Season 3) Cast
The full cast of season 3 isn’t confirmed yet. Jason’s Isaac’s Peter Groff needs to demonstrate their excellence to his headteacher brother, using their recording artist Dua Saleh as a returning student who’ll struggle with the new headmistress Hope, which Jemima Kirke plays.
It is also assuming that the figures in the teaser video will also be returning. Season 3 features Asa Butterfield, Gillan Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, and Patricia Allison.
Sex Education Season 3 Trailer
Regular Netflix fans would know that a trailer would signify that the show will mostly premier in a month or so. Since there has not been any trailer release for ‘Sex Education Season 3, fans would have to keep their eyes peeled when it comes out.
