Star Trek: Picard is an American Science fiction television series created by Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, Kirsten Beyer, and Alex Kurtzman for the streaming service CBS All Access. It is based on the Star Trek movie franchise and narrates the story of Jean-Luc Picard after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) in WHICH Picard was deeply affected by the death of Data as well as the destruction of the planet Romulus. Star Trek: Picard is available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for the Indian audience.

Star Trek Picard Season 2 Recant Updates

The makers of Star Trek: Picard have announced a season 2 for the same. The second season stared filming way before the official announcement of the show in January, 2020. Filming in 2020 was supposed to begin in June but was delayed due to the Corona Virus Pandemic and is expected to begin in January, 2021.

The series will feature Patrick Stewart in the titular character as Jean-Luc Picard who is the protagonist of the show. Other main characters include:

The Plot Of Star Trek Picard Season 2

20 years after Jean-Luc Picard’s last appearance on the Starfleet, he living a retired quiet life on his vineyard named Chateau Picard. Picard may have left his past life but the events of his past haunt him in his dreams.  As his life progresses he meets a woman named Dahj who requires his help immediately. Picard releases that this woman may have personal connections from his own past on Starfleet and something impossible has occurred. His meeting with this woman raises questions that no one may answer. And now it is up to Picard to face these challenges and provide answers.

The plot for season 2 has not been announced yet.

The Release Date Of Star Trek Picard Season 2

As the makers of the show have delayed production due to the pandemic, the filming has been rescheduled for January 2021, therefore, the show will not air any time sooner than late 2021 or mid-2022.
