The L Word: Generation Q Season 2 is a modern touch to the previous The L Word series. With a gap of 10 years, this series includes LGBTQ+ characters leading life and finding themselves. This way it is more suitable for today’s generation and creates diverse fans.

Release Date 

The series received renewal recently for season two on December 8, 2020. Meanwhile, The L Word is running its season ten right now. The show will probably air sometime in 2021. There is no official renewal date update yet.

Plot

Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger so thank god for its renewal. The season ended with an emotional rollercoster. Bette lost the race to become Mayor with a very small margin. Micah’s boyfriend’s skeletons came out of the closet and guess what, the dude was already married. At last, Sophie finally decided between lover Finley and fiancèe Dani but they left viewers hungry to know who Sophie chose! We will get to know the answer to this question in Season 2 soon.

  • Sepideh Moafi plays Gigi Ghorbani who is the troublesome ex-wife of Nat(Alice’s girlfriend)
  • Leo Sheng plays Micah Lee, a trans professor
  • Jacqueline Toboni as Sarah Finley, executive assistant of Alice Pieszecki
  • Rosanny Zayas plays Sophie Suarez, Dani’s fiancée as well as the producer of Alice’s talk show
  • Jordan Hull as Angelica Porter-Kennard is Bette’s daughter with her ex-wife

Additions to the cast for Season 2:

O’Donnel will play Carrie, a public defender will enter Bette’s life entry to make it heaven or hell who knows. Fashion will undertake the character of Tom, Alice’s editor. The last addition is Dunne, who will play the role of Isaac, an international art dealer who is introduced to Bette.
