While all the fans are waiting for season 5 of The Last Kingdom on the Netflix platform, they all want to know what will happen with Finan, Sihtric and Osferth.

All The Last Kingdom fans are waiting for Finan ( Mark Rowley ), Sihtric ( Arnas Fedaravičius ) and Osferth ( Ewan Mitchell ) who believe they will play bigger roles this season and kill some important characters.

The series is based on Bernard Cornwell’s The Saxon Stories and the novels give more details about each character. In the books that season five is expected to be based on, Finan comes face to face with his brother from Ireland, leading to a violent confrontation.

While Sihtric could even kill Uhtred’s cousin Wihtgar (Ossian Perret) for the pain he caused Uhtred in season four. Osferth, who was a Christian monk turned warrior, could kill the antagonist Haesten (Jeppe Beck Laursen) in the next season.

All viewers of The Last Kingdom have fallen in love with the three characters, who provide comic relief and many emotional scenes. But, they have yet to prove their worth as individual heroes in the series, as they generally always support Uhtred.

Production on The Last Kingdom Season 5 is well underway and hopefully, the new season will be out before the end of 2021, if not early 2022.
