The Plot Of The Society Season 2
The story is based in a town named West Ham in Connecticut and there is a weird smell all around the town no one is able to figure out about. The teenagers of the town are all set to go for a camping trip out of town and board a bus for the same. Unfortunately, their trip gets cancelled and they are dropped back to West Ham. While returning the teenagers discover no one is home. Some kids find this a perfect opportunity to throw a wild party, but the next morning, there are still no adults around and the borders of the town are blocked by a large jungle through which they realize that they are cut off from the world.
From here the teenagers have to take things in their own hands manage food supplies for everyone, find farm lands for farming, manage inventories of ration, and also run their own democracy and form a governing body. Their problems don’t end there as they have to manage psychopaths, drug addicts and also a pregnant teen in their town. One of the teens named Gordie was of the view that they are stuck in a parallel universe and everyone looks at the stars for indication. Eventually, their leader and heart patient Cassandra is shot dead by one of the teens named Greg who is eventually executed by Allie.
The teen drama gets more and more mysterious with every episode and has a very thought-provoking cliffhanger by the end. Where Allie’s mom is reading Peter Pan to a group of students in a library and behind her is a huge plaque which read WE REMEMBER THEM and contains the name of all the missing students.
The Release Date Of The Society Season 2
Much to the dismay of the fans, Netflix has decided not to renew the teen dram for a new season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
