If you remember their first bout at UFC 216, which has earned Fight of the Night honor, surprisingly we get to see this rematch which was scheduled right away when the original left off.

In the fight Green was choosing his shots carefully by mostly staying on the feet, defending the punches and hitting back on point, and little care for personal safety. In the third bout, green on the verge to win by doing just a little more damage, and that was all to claim unanimous decision. To avoid complaints organizers should continue to schedule this fight at least once a year.

The first outing ended with a draw, and Green finally gets a decisive outcome. Green said he never had a draw before, therefore he went back and check out who is the best man in the ring.

Joanne Calderwood knew that she is taking risks for this fight when it was not required as the title shot is waiting for her which is to be played against Valentina Shevchenko. Similarly, Jennifer Maia knew that this was her final opportunity to get the title. Dana White, president of UFC confirmed in the conference which was scheduled post-fight that Maia was next for the champ following after the first-round finish.

Maia in the conference said that from the start when she got in UFC, she never had an easy fight. In addition, she tests herself in those fights. She was very happy that the champion was talking about her and she was ready to fight for the title. She wants to fight with the champion, it will be a pleasure for her to fight with the champion.

Vicente Luque is one of the fighters where everyone sees their name on the fight card and immediately shortlist them as a bonus winner.

Randy Brown was the opponent in the game, if he made his way to third round then it might have been in competition for Fight of the Night, but he ended up midway in round two.

Luque said whenever he sees an opportunity, he goes for it and tries to finish the fight. Indeed, he won. At the age of 28, he needs only two more wins to tie Matt Brown’s UFC welterweight record of 13 to tie with Brown’s record of 11 knockouts he needs three more.
