Venom 2: Expected Release Date, Cast, Plot And More Updates

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is the second installment of the Venom series. The film is based on Marvel comics of the same name and is produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures and directed by Andy Serkis. The production work of the same January 2019 and the filming took place in England.

The Cast Of Venom

The film will feature Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom who is the protagonist, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Reid Scott as Dan Lewis, and Naomie Harris as Shriek.

Further, there is news that Stephen Graham and Sean Delaney have been cast in undisclosed roles.

The Plot Of Venom

While exploring the space, a company named life sciences extract symbiotic lifeforms and bring 4 samples to earth one of which escapes. The CEO of the company Carlton Drake runs fatal trials of these life forms on innocent human beings as an experiment. These life forms require a host to survive and humans provide for the same. Investigative journalist Eddie Brock tries to question Drake about the trials and ends up losing his job. The story takes a huge leap when Brook attempts to rescue Maria, a homeless woman from the trial and ends up being possessed by the symbiote himself. Brock is introduced to Venom a dangerous symbiote who possesses him and want to fight bad people. In the Brock and venom are successful in destroying Drakes dastardly deeds and Venom kills him. Brock and Venom seem to share a good bonding and keep it a secret from Brock’s girlfriend Anne.

In the mid credits scene, Brock interviews imprisoned serial killer Cletus Kasady,who promises a “carnage” when he escapes. The second instalment of the series seems to picking up from here with Carnage as the villain.

The Release Date Of Venom

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 25, 2021. It was delayed from its initial release in October 2020 due to Corona Virus outbreak.
