According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the new Monday Night RAW superstar Damian Priest would have received a change in the name of his final movement, which was called Reckoning, the name that Mia Yim is using in the stable.
On the last Monday Night RAW show, Damian Priest defeated Angel Garza. When Priest made his final move, the commentary team called him Hit The Lights instead of the well-known Reckoning. Bad Bunny once again accompanied Damian to the ring and everything indicates that both will continue together at least until Wrestlemania where they could have a match.
Damian Priest helped Bad Bunny win the Championship 24/7 after beating Akira Tozawa, who had just beaten R-Truth. This weekly R-Truth himself tried to count Bad Bunny backstage but Priest defended him, as well as attacking several fighters who intervened during their fight to try to win the title of his friend.
The wrestler is known on the independent scene as Punishment Martinez was hired by WWE in October 2018. Under the new name of Damian Priest, he made his NXT debut and managed to climb positions among the public until he became a favorite of the yellow show. Priest won the North American Championship in August 2020 and held it for 67 days before losing it to Johnny Gargano. His last match in NXT occurred at New Year’s Evil earlier this year, where he was defeated by Carrion Kross.
